A.J. Stephen

A.J. has been actively working in the health & fitness industry since January of 2011 and founded Stephen Fitness & Rehabilitation in May of 2016. Although he started working with individuals looking to get stronger and/or lose weight, he began to notice individuals with special cases were drawn to his educational background, professionalism and calm demeanor. Noticing a need for that kind of niche service, he decided to promote his work with those who live with physical and/or cognitive impairment. Currently completing his PhD in Health & Aging at Western University, A.J. has helped hundreds of satisfied clients, and their families, with their unique needs and is a key mentor for Fanshawe College and Western University Kinesiology students. A.J. currently services the London, St. Thomas, and Dorchester, Ontario areas.

Sarah Tingle

Sarah came to London in 2020 from Syracuse NY. She was educated at SUNY Cortland where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology. She went on to pursue further education and became licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Sarah has 11 years experience as a PTA working with many different clients with various needs and backgrounds. She also is McKenzie Part A certified. Sarah is very passionate about her work because it combines her compassion and empathy with her love for physical activity. Sarah currently services Bryon, Lambeth, Westmount, Komoka and other surrounding neighbourhoods.

Malak El-Saleh

Mal has been playing sports since the age of 10 and has been passionate about fitness and health ever since. She always wanted to pursue a career where she could motivate and help others with their fitness goals and improve their quality of life. After high school, she completed the Fitness and Health Promotion program at Fanshawe College where did her work placement with Stephen Fitness & Rehab. Mal then went on to complete the PTA/OTA program at Trios College after her grandmother suffered a stroke. She is a regulated Senior Exercise Specialist and has extensive experience working with geriatrics, stroke patients, post-op patients and amputees. Mal loves challenging her in-home clients and ensuring that they are progressing with their exercise program safely. Mal currently services London, and St. Thomas, Ontario.

Steve Shelmov

Steve was introduced to physiotherapy following his recovery from a shoulder injury. Specializing in musculoskeletal disorders, Steve's expertise shines in private settings, where he integrates manual techniques with personalized exercise routines. His passion for fitness and sports aligns with his approach, promoting holistic wellness. Steve's commitment lies in guiding clients toward regained strength and mobility, drawing from his own journey to deliver proper care. Steve currently services the London, St. Thomas, Dorchester, and Komoka, Ontario areas.
